It depends when the car is registered, a MY13 car is the latest spec but old stock could also be registered with a 13 plate for example.

My new (ex-Demo) MY13 was registered on the 30 Jan 2013 and has a 62 plate. There were also others that were registered in Nov 2012 shown as MY13 again obviously with 62 plates.

Couldn't you hold on to your current FL2 until the FL3 comes out? I might keep my 2011 HSE until 2015 or change to an MY14 next year. |

Nothing, just think it hasn't changed enough outside to make it feel like a change after having 2 already Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis |

I think it has changed considerably since its original release in 2007. Even the 2011 facelift improved the exterior IMHO. Now with the LED lights and new interior, a lot has changed. Bt that's my opinion. Good luck with your search. |

Just go for the rugged option and buy a Defender 110 double cab http://pictures.autotrader.co.uk/ATD_web/s...=162856664 LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby

It's not that it hasn't changed, I think the new dynamic body kit added to a HsE would be enough to temp me back if I can't find a D4 on budget. Early days anyway Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis |

While I was looking there were quite a few RRS's with low milage to be had at 'reasonable' prices. It was just that I wanted black with black interior & paddle shift along with the low miles & reasonable price.

Nick, look for a 62 plate, the later Sat Nav like the one in the MY13 Freelander 2 was fitted from around October
