SAT NAV SCREEN SHOWING LIST OF FAULTS?

Confused Hi all
New to the forum, not sure if I can add much at the present but do have a very annoying fault with built in sat nav, used to be OK but recently showing signs of dementure!
When starting as normal the screen shows what appears to be a list of faults down the LH side, I can scroll up and down using the touch screen and that is it. there is an exit button bottom RH side but this does nothing.
The screen comes on in the above manner if I turn on the radio with the key removed.
I am now not able to select navigate even if the proper opening screen appears.
Can anybody help me before I have to resort to a very expensive trip to a LR dealer or a large hammer!

First thing I would try is disconnecting the terminals from the battery holding them together for a few mins then reconnecting them fixes all sorts of problems.

If that doesn't work if you have the sat nav disc you could try putting that in to force an update?

There is also a secret menu that you can accsess there might be a reset option in there?

Thumbs Up Thanks Jon & npinks
I will give it a try as soon as it stops raining and I can get outside.
Also take a photo and post it hopefully for the record.
