If the radio is on and it senses the battery fall below 12.3 Volts it will turn the radio off to avoid flattening the battery. p****d off with a Digital Keyboard Warrior |

...and it also switches off even if your in the middle of a (Bluetooth) phone-call! i.e. using the Bluetooth on a call, park up, shut the engine off and 3 mins later the radio(media centre) decides its going to shut down. Embarrassment as you struggle to find your phone to carry on with the call! |

That might not be a bad thing, I once switched my engine off in my old 2008 HSE whilst on a call, finished the call after about 5 minutes, got out and next morning had a flat battery as the car hadnt shut down the electronics properly. Ever since then I have always ended call before switching off the engine and never had a problem since. Now - 2017 BMW X3 M Sport Carbon Black Gone - 2014 BMW X3 M Sport Space Grey, faultless! Gone - 2011 Freelander 2 SD4 HSE Bali Blue with xenons Gone - 2008 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Rimini Red with bodykit |
