I had an issue recently (compliments of my local dealer ) where I could not get certain gears.

Update - disconnected and reconnected solenoid No change! Checked selector moves forward for 2nd 4th etc and back for 1st 3rd etc appeared to be not going far enough forward so sprayed some lubricant around linkages. Can select all gears except 2nd, any ideas on adjustment etc? I am assuming there must be adjustment at the gear lever, seems if lever was sitting a bit more forward then backward stroke of lever would be long enough to get 2 nd? 2014 SE Loire Blue SD4 Auto (MY15)

Sorted - selector cable has a grommet on it that locates onto front of gear stick bracketry. This had popped out to the rhs. Relocated it and hey presto! 2014 SE Loire Blue SD4 Auto (MY15)
