hi guys new on here but im having a problem with my freelander 2 2.2 td4 its very slugglish low down revs and smoking alot until around 2000 revs and then cars drives normal, so i read up and it symtoms pointed to maf to which i replaced but to no avail, ive been told that a variable geometry turbo rod/link can stick in the high/low revs position i need to know how i can free this rod up can someone supply photos as to where this rod is located and how to remove and free this part up i know i cannot oil it as these parts reach high temperatures which with oil on copuld lead to a fire many thanks in advance.
ps when maf is unplugged car drives fine with the exception of eml on
