Nearside front window problem

I appear to have a bit of a problem with my front passengers electric window, when I operate either the button on the drivers or passengers door the window only opens about an inch and a half at a time and the same when closing, if you keep pushing the button it will open all the way but only in short movements so you have to push the button 7 or 8 times to open completely, I have been through all the reset procedures in the manual without any joy, all the other windows are operating fine. If you keep the remote pushed down when unlocking all the other windows open all the way apart from this one. Has anyone got any ideas?

as it does the same with the buttons or remote points towards the window winder sticking or the motor itself, that is the area I would first look at.

You could try a bit of lubricant in the window channels. Might be sticking a bit.

Didn't get a chance to look at it the weekend and forgot all about it, tried it on the way home tonight and all is working so I don't know what caused that.
