�41k for an XS with a body kit! I guess I know nothing about the cost of a 13MY. Land Rover site shows the top of the range HSE Lux SD4 auto 190HP for �40k.

From a 1974 series III to a 12MY XS FL2 with help of a 1995 D1, 1996 D1, 2005 D3, 2007 D3 and a 2009 FL2.

Dynamic has the body kit and different seats which the wife prefers plus loads of other goodies including rear camera which we have added thus the �40.5k price tag (not �41.5k as I first thought).

Our spec is more HSE Lux with a body kit Grey 18" wheels not gold I'm sad to say

What colour seats are you having? If I ordered a Dynamic I would either have it in Firenze red with black and red seats or Mauritius blue with black and white seats.

Sounds great! I'm tempted to order a new MY13, but seeing as my HSE is only 19 months old and only has 20,000 miles on the clock, I would rather wait for the all new FL3 in 2015.

It will be great to see some pictures of it when it arrives.

For the price of the Dynamic loaded up as you have done you could also have had a HSE with 1 option - the bodykit, works out more or less the same give or take �500 or so. Not sure what else the HSE would offer over a specced up Dynamic other than the heated steering wheel albeit I guess a HSE with bodykit would hold onto its value more.

If you would like to Know the likely minimum price you could pay perhaps you could have a look at "drivethedeal" They provide discount cars direct from main dealers. (they also discount options which on your spec could make a big difference). Thats what I did. Then you can go to your local dealer armed with a good price.

Had an email from beadles sidcup a few days ago which suggests they are offering discount of �5255 on new freelander 2 dynamics.

Spec it up with Broadspeed.com and you'll find it comes in at around �35k. Foraging near Gaydon....
