Australia 2008 Freelander 2 TD4 SE Auto Lago Grey

In my experience, I get almost double the wear from AT tyres than I did from HT tyres. I only ever had the one set of HT's that came with the car new (Wranglers). I got nearly 50k kilometres out of them.I got 90k kilometres from the Geolander AT-S I put on next. I have Maxxis AT700's on now and they are wearing well.

England 2010 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Auto Galway Green

Yes I did Alf. It was not a continous even drone more of a rumble noise with vibration around 50 mph. I was initially told by the dealer that it had to go in for the diff. After having it for the day, they then told me that it was the tyres ' blocking' and not the diff. Once the tyres were changed, the rumble noise went but i still percieve some vibration and suspect there still could be something wrong. However the rumble noise has gone - unfortunately, yours will only get worse !! FL2 HSE Auto Galway Green
