I think you can pick up a brand new primed one for around that price, and painting shouldn't be too pricey...plus you'd get a brand new part on your car.

In principle its a good idea but they would have to be supplied in there Primed state as it would be difficult for them to arrange a multitude of colours.

But I personally don't know a bodyshop that could spray it cheaply enough to make it worth while

I`d be interested in a primed spoiler, I dont think the paint spray should cost that much, better than a 3rd hand spoiler@£150 + new sticky tape
