I bought my 58 LR2 td4s 8 moths ago. It was last serviced by a Landrover dealer mid April last year. Having it serviced soon by an indie. Service indicator light has not appeared. I would have thought the dealer should have reset it from April last year, for it to come on 12 months later? Could it be the fact that the car was reg in Sept & that the service light would come on yearly in Sept?
As I had the same issue with my Astra. Dealers couldn't be bothered to reset service date to a changed month. Ended up changing it myself.
