Stratstone Service

Just had a call from Stratstone as my 4th service is due in May. They want £352 for the "B" service or £149 for oil and filter service which would also include ALL the visual and safety checks listed on the service schedule.

It seems to me that they will cover everything except Air,Pollen and Fuel filters.

What do you guys think??

Scotland 2009 Freelander 2 TD4_e HSE Manual Lago Grey

I'm in a similar position and have done 22000mls.

I'm thinking of just changing the oil and filter myself as I feel that is all that's really required this year. ( plus an MOT )

also the fact that it's out of warranty and dealer servicing seems not as important.

United Kingdom 2008 Freelander 2 TD4 SE Manual Santorini Black

Find yourself a nice little trustworthy independent LR specialist.
When I sold my FL2 the other week the garage were as happy to see independent LR stamp in the book as much as the main dealers and gave me top book for it.

So it had no effect on my resale value.
