As some of you may know I'm having problems with my key fobs (will open,won't open)

Your keys shouldn't need reprogramming just because the battery has been disconnected. I changed the battery completely and the only things that needed any work was the windows. Disconnecting and reconnecting the battery is a common recommendation for a wide range of faults and wouldn't be so if you had to get your car to a dealer afterwards to get the keys reprogrammed. |

If your keys needed re-programming you wouldn't be able to get your car back to the dealers.

As "Bossbob" said disconnecting the battery has no effect. My battery was removed from mine for 6 weeks plus and it did not effect them. The windows need a relearn and I found I could get all windows onto one touch which was handy
