Waiting waiting , I ordered my new car on 11 July and the 1st March delivery date approaches at last!! Ok the Freelander has only been ordered since 5th Dec. Most of the delay is down to my failed Audi order before that , but its still a long long wait!

On top of that O2 keep forgetting to send my new phone, 2 weeks waiting for that now! (despite many phone calls to them, but like all these thing they promise the earth and do nothing) promised for tomorrow now!

And now I have to wait up until 2:30 am to start work Tick .............tock.
I feel like I'm in a reality TV Guinness advert

The first task for the new fl2 , If it arrives on time, will be a airport run to pick Mrs George and a friend up from the airport probably directly from the dealers, which will be a good christening for it.

O2 are useless they upgraded my fathers phone 3 times, 1st time he got the phone, 2nd and 3rd time they offered him different phones and terms. he accepted each of them and right at the end asked them what he should do with the original phone he got 2 month earlier when he upgraded?

Obviously the people at O2 wasn't best pleased as he kept them on the phone (his new phone) for 10 minutes haggling a deal to basically tell them he had a phone already 2 months earlier.

but for them to ring twice and he'll play along each time

Looks like 3rd March delivery now, the dealer scared me a little by saying he didn't get the privacy glass order thru to factory on time so I would have to have film, Then he turned page in his file and read that the order had gone thru.
To leave my dealers you end up driving around the rear (well I do as I'm nosey ) and there sat a 08 narvik black fl2 outside in the cold and frost. (not mine thou)
Apparently he has 104 vehicles going out with an 08 plate on!
Last year he was the second largest customer of defenders in the world, beaten by only the Belgian army. Mainly due to the farmers coming into Ripon from the dales.

Thats just in time for a DISCO3 pay & play at Parkwood 4X4, at Tong on the 9th Mzrch
