After looking to see what happens, this morning it was -1 degrees, foot on brake, pressed start and in the rev counter between 4-5 thousand revs the glow plug came on for a couple of seconds and went off then it started to crank and she fired up. So I had indication and delay.

Later I started again and the temp had warmed up but this time there was no glowplug showing, it was instant start when the button was pressed. It also does not show on an ignition only lamp check so you only see it when you need it.

Mind you that's for MY11 model, knows about any other.

I HAVE SEEN THE LIGHT, PRAISE THE LORD, yup there it was between 4-5k on the rev counter. Slot in the fob and Press the button( no clutch) and on comes the ignition. If its cold there hiding away is the elusive little amber coil,


Now I've found it I'm a happy bunny,

Now to try and work out how that stop start malarkey works.
