LED lights are run at high frequency and when the sync speed differs from the camera you get this effect, apparently it is a problem for some motorists at night following cars with LED rear lights as they can see a flickering.

I think the may be CCFL tubes?
They use PWM units, I believe it allows to drive them at higher current but on a duty cycle so the average current is the same but intensity increases.

I have often wondered if the BMW Angel eyes would fit around the projector lens?

Er indoors and I went out in a 2013 Range Rover at the Land Rover experience centre in Chesire a couple weeks back. Lovely car and if I had 80k to use as disposable income I would have one, but I don't, so I won't.

Funnily getting back into the FL2 afterwards made the FL2 feel like a series landie.

It's all about the TDV8 though, think of your comfiest chair and then a nice cossiting shove as you are propelled towards the horizon, that is the new Range Rover.
