Wrap up, its cold outside!

Our dog Sam (Welsh Springer Spaniel) is 9 now and when it gets very cold, he has been known to limp a bit. We not only got him a coat but also some snow socks! He looked a bit down here but really appreciated it out on the walk today. No limping and he was charging around in the snow. The other dog Toby (English Springer) (not pictured) is the dog of steel and laughs at snow.

Some road salt contains antifreeze chemicals which are poisonous to dogs, it becomes a problem when they come back in and lick their paws, it can be fatal.
you need to be washing the dogs paws after they have been in contact with road salt.
