Hello and welcome Thumbs Up You have good taste, they do look great in stornoway grey. I have just got rid of mine due to cutbacks but I can tell you that they are very comfortable and laugh at snow and floods. Missing mine already after having to shovel snow off the drive that I would ordinarily plough through. Defo winter tyres for me around October time. LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby

Hi, welcome to the forum.

is the side of your driver's seat starting to crack or has it been repaired ?

worth mentioning to the dealer in case repair needed.

Iain

You won't miss the Jeep - yes it's capable but cheap cheap build and old technology can't compare with the FR2. Welcome!

Welcome Thumbs Up

Another stornoway grey owner here. I have the SD4 XS and as The Doctor says, very comfortable and they laugh at snow etc. The Goodyear wrangler tyres are fine but some say the continental M+S tyres are pants in snow. I had the conti's on mine so invested in some Avon Ranger Ice winter tyres and they have been awesome. 60 plate SD4 XS, Stornoway Grey, Arm rest pack

Thanks for the welcome Iain
Its a 08 Plate and its done 70000 mile, must admit it did put me off a bit, seeing as my jeep was a 04 and only had 56500 on the clock
The freelander had one lady owner who done motorway mile, so i'm hoping that's a good thing

The dealer is going to redo the set, i made sure i mentioned it to him on the test-drive, hes going to get it reupholstered on the lower half where the small rip is Wink

good man, it is a common fault and easily fixed.

70K nothing to worry about, especially motorway miles.

Looks real nice, very similar to what I'm looking for. Hope you enjoy!

If you don't mind me asking, how much did you pay? Did you buy from a LR dealer?

Paid 14.995 with the PX on my car i ended up paying 12.200
Bought it from a place called GP Cars in Broxbourne Hertfordshire
Did check out all the LR dealers (Search for quite a while) but found it hard to find a Stowoway Gray with the Cream Interior so as soon as this one came up i snapped it,,, and the best part was GP Cars are only 4 Miles from my house - and i never even knew they where there Thumbs Up

Looks good! Thumbs Up Is the rear wiper broken? It should be parked on the right hand side of the screen.

You got a good eye Bow down
Its been noted by me to the the dealer and its going to be fixed with a new motor along with the small seat rip on the DS plus full valet New MOT & i have it booked in with a LR dealer as soon as i get it to give it a good check over seeing as the car comes with the standard 3 Months warranty -- even tho it comes with a full check by there own mechanic Rolling Eyes
Always best to find things out before its to late
