doesnt matter as the disco isnt going to exert 40 tonnes of towing force, strap needs to be as big as the discos maximum pull or drag At work

He was only able to do that because he went for the sensible wheel option...someone on 20's with P-Zero's would probably have needed a tow themselves Mine: 2012 Golf GTI Edition 35

towed a truck loaded with 29 tonnes of chicken feed up our farm lane today, a dead pull up hill from standing, broke first towing chain immediately as the driver started to roll back before the chain was tensioned, So I went for the spare chain and success, but it needed all the grip I could find with the tractor. tractor weighs approx 8 tonne. At work
