Gone - Thanks everyone

Well yesterday saw the FL being traded in for a "normal" car + a lot of cashback
The past 2 weeks saw a new remote fob and a throttle body housing and i was dreading other parts failing (car had reached 65k - 2009my) so i decided to jump ship
I had until then really enjoyed the FL, great driving position, 33mpg, torque and good loooks with the facelifted front end i had done

I'd just like to thank the friendly members on this forum for their help and friendly banter and will continue to visit the forum often Thumbs Up

Watch it snow this week now that i hava a 2wd Laughing

Good choice of replacement though! The Astra Sporthatch is a great handling car and looks the part.

The 1.8 VVC which you have has a reputation for bulletproof reliability! Freelander 2 HSE Lux 2013MY - Barolo Black with Ivory Leather. Alpine DVD - Privacy -Evoque 20" Dynamic Wheels and more to come.........

Hope so - it's a 59 plate with 12000 miles and 4 service stamps, should last through the winter Laughing

I've had 3 of these before - 1.8SRi non vvc, 1.6Turbo and a VXR - never had a problem with any of them

Cheeky git Laughing

I thought it was silver when i saw it on tinterweb - it's actually a rare colour as it was only used on the last of this shape astra 3 doors so there aren't many about like this - it's a sort of green/ silver (pepperminty)?
