Engine oil filter removal from top?

Hi Gents,
Has anyone managed to remove the engine oil filter from the top? ie. without crawling under the vehicle. FL2 (2013)
Thanks

Don't think so, it's hard enough to do it from under the vehicle, well nigh impossible from the top.

Oil filter

I found it easy enough from the top.
Cracking the stiction to get the filter to begin to move was difficult; I used a 27mm socket 3/4 drive with a Vauxhall wheel bolt filed on its taper to 3/4 thus allowing a standard 17mm 1/2" drive and long reach wrench. Once first moving follow with a 27mm silverline hinged end ratchet spanner. I also had to turn the jube clip on the inlet stiff plastic air hose.
Be prepared to swear and cuss a bit as you bruise knuckles and get cuts.
There's plenty of posts on the forum on filter changing; please do a full search. 2010GS Auto ex Celeb, Santorini Black, 2011 facelift , spoiler, spats, mudflaps, LED footwell lamps, Witter detach,
