Fitting LED "fairy lights"

Has anybody fitted after-market daytime running LED lights. Thinking of getting some to try some inside my xenon lights on my HSE. Wonder if the headlights can be opened up to do this. They would need to be good quality, dont want the cheap tacky look of a saxo!!!

I believe with the gentle use of a heat gun the headlight 'lens' can be detached from the main unit. Not something I would want to try though Exclamation
