Regeneration complete!

Well I have today regenerated. To say the car is brand new and engine not run in yet, I averaged 48mpg coming home and that was mostly town driving. It does have stop/start which I am used to from the FL2. Being petrol it is as smooth as silk and to say it is an economical car, it does move along with some urgency when the turbo kicks in. Happy with my choice and as EY said, get my priorities in order.

Each to their own CG. I think it looks great but then I wouldn't have bought it if I didn't. Lets face it though, if I won the lotto jackpot, it wouldn't matter what supercar or luxury car I bought, it would still result in the mandatory pi Censored take on here. But then I would feel something was amiss if I didn't get some abuse Laughing Thumbs Up LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby

Nice one Doc, looks like a lovely little car. I have always liked the style of the middle console (where the radio is) very futuristic like the Kuga. Definitely suits a modern time traveller!! Thumbs Up

Maybe a new forum section for the Ex freel2 owners, seems to be quite a few of us now!!

You know I don't miss my freelander, I thought I would. Actually loving the golf, 60mpg and a decent stereo, who needs a green oval!

Well by the start of next winter my friend, I will hopefully have got some Continental TS850's on it and then I will look forward to testing them out in the snow. Best 'normal' winter tyres out there apparently (without resorting to the mega tyres for Scandinavia). Short of deep/thick snow, I can't see the Fez having any trouble with those on.
