Set of 4 winter tyres for sale - NOW SOLD VIA EBAY

The legendary snow groove tyre are up for grabs. Avon Ranger Ice and they are superb. Been used only 2 winters:

Oct 2011 - March 2012
November 2012 - March 2013

I do less than 10k miles a year so hardly any wear and shed loads of tread left. Cost £580 brand new inc fitting. I offer them at £300 which I think is a bargain.

No interest yet but early days. Then again, we are coming to the end of winter now Laughing I have put these in ad mag and at work on intranet marketplace. Next step is Ebay if no takers. LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby

Indeed Lurcher. I always swapped the tyres over on my OEM alloys. Circa £60 all in at the local tyre fitters. Might you be interested?.... LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby

Where are you Doc ? ( and dont say on another planet Very Happy ) , just come from a Kuga and many on their forum swop like you to winter tyres in Oct ( usually to a steel set of rims ) , thats why I was asking .

Derbyshire, South Normanton to be precise. Approx 1.5-2 miles from Jct 28 of M1. Easy to find us if you wanted to collect because I suspect a courier service would be steep. If you went down the steel rims route I bet you could pick some up for a good price.

As I say, these tyres are not only awesome but good value. I guess they have had about 7.5k miles use at most and at £580 new inc fitting, £300 is a good deal for both parties. Let me know your thoughts. LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby

I'll have a look around to see if there any appropriate steel or alloys cheap and weigh the costs up .
