I have an interest also and while I don't want to detract from Rick's question to LR's seat covers only, I would like to see owners pics of any make fitted, not the manufacturers pics.

I have the LR seat covers which I bought from Duckworths with a considerable discount - excellent deal as usual. No pictures I'm afraid as they are currently in the wash! My opinion of them is mixed but overall positive. The quality of the fabric and manufacture is excellent and they really do stop just about everything getting through to the seats. However, fitting them is not straightforward if you are doing it on your own. They are a very snug fit and the fittings are awkward - but practice helps. While you are messing about in the front you need hands reaching under the seat from the back. The fastenings are velcro on elastic strings which, so far have worked well, but after washing a few times are not holding as well as when they were new - but still OK. As for appearance they do not look as good as the LR photos. Although a snug fit to put on, once on, the side flaps for the airbags prevent you getting tension on the seatback portion so it is loose and difficult to get wrinkle free. The seat part is also difficult to fit as you can't get down the sides easily to secure it. Having secured it you tension it by pushing a built in bolster back into the gap between the base of the back and the seat. This works and you can get a good taught result, but after a few trips it moves and becomes loose, meaning the seat cover wrinkles.

Britpart do front covers only for FL2. If the quality of the set I have on the Range Rover are anything to go by then they will be superb. Excellent fit. Washable. * GONE. GS TD4 Manual MY2013. Orkney Grey with privacy, cold and clearview packs, armrests (a must!) and a spoiler.

Thanks for the review Ben, it was very helpful I plan on keeping the covers fitted all the time to keep the kids from getting the cloth seats mucky! So I don't mind spending a bit of time fitting them and then just wipe them down when they need it. Just wanted to know they were a good fit and not to baggy, which it sounds like they'll be ok. I've got the genuine LR fronts fitted. They serve their purpose brilliantly , but the fit quite honestly is functional not aesthetic, to get an idea chuck a bed sheet at the drivers seat from about 10 feet away...... 2009 GS Auto Zermatt Silver - Sold June 21 after 10 years of ownership

I am also after a set of seat covers to suit Freelander 2, unfortunately nothing available in this god forsaken penal colony. Are these:

They are nothing like the covers shown in Defenderben's post. The link Taz has posted is probably the closest, but it's a drawing and the LR seat base cover does not cover as much of the seat as this drawing depicts.. The LR covers come in 2 parts with the head rest separate from the back and seat and despite the negative comments, some by me, they are of excellent quality. All you need is a little OCD to keep them wrinkle free. |

Some piccies of my LR seat covers in my gallery. The passenger seat has had some fettling to make it look better, the drivers seat is what it normally looks like after sitting on it for an hour or two.
