Dvd player?

Hi,

While cleaning the car, my girlfriend noticed a DVD ROM player under the passenger seat?
Reminder... I bought the car as a second hand.

What is the use?

Regards!

it works from the screen on the dashboard, the DVD Rom under the seat hold the DVD with all the maps on it

Things like this are in the satnav handbook Thumbs Up Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

The Land Rover prices for discs are crazy! Do a search on ebay. There are normally disc updates available at around £50 or so. Western Europe set (3 discs) will cover all you need. (I see you are in France) I updated with with a Volvo set last year. 10MY (Sept 09) TD4 HSE Auto in Stornoway Grey (Now Gone)

Hey thanks for the advice, any serial number for the updates? As I noticed you said you updated with a Volvo disc set, how come?

Thanks

Sorry I did not get back to you, Bam - have been away! My car came with 07/08 discs (3) Denso p/n 104632-5670. I upgraded using Volvo RTI 2011 discs (4) for S80, V70, XC60 & XC70 - Denso p/n 104642-7570. There may well be a later set available now. There are several threads on here re SatNav, including my upgrade last year. Do a search. HTH, Bob 10MY (Sept 09) TD4 HSE Auto in Stornoway Grey (Now Gone)
