it works from the screen on the dashboard, the DVD Rom under the seat hold the DVD with all the maps on it

The Land Rover prices for discs are crazy! Do a search on ebay. There are normally disc updates available at around £50 or so. Western Europe set (3 discs) will cover all you need. Sorry I did not get back to you, Bam - have been away! My car came with 07/08 discs (3) Denso p/n 104632-5670. I upgraded using Volvo RTI 2011 discs (4) for S80, V70, XC60 & XC70 - Denso p/n 104642-7570. There may well be a later set available now.
