My wife and I picked up our two new Freelander XS’s from Lancasters (WGC) on Saturday and the service was exemplary. From initial enquiry in early February to Saturday’s handover customer service was superb. So I’d like to say a public thank you via the forum to all those involved!

did you try to deal with Morrison's in Stirling Ian?

Hi Iain - my previous GS (that I have just p/ex'd) came from Morrisons. My wife has a GS supplied by Lancaster in WGC, and both vehicles were due for change in September this year. It was Lancaster who contacted us first - hence going to them for the new cars. Both (old) cars have now been changed for XS's. I'm not sure now whether to take mine to Morrison's for servicing as my Allegiance membership with them will be null (as the membership as I understand it is specific to the vehicle - in this case my old GS).

So that's my reason for 'defecting' - and I hasten to had that I've always had excellent customer service from Morrison's too!
