Newbie!

Hi,

Newbie just registered, and just put a deposit on a 2010 Freelander 2 with just 20k on the clock.....nicely run in then Wink

Hope to pick it up mid next week, Duckworths have to service, Mot, and transfer reg and fit a dog guard and boot liner first!

Trading in a Suzuki Grand Vitara 05 ( hope thats nor swearing on here;-), which actually served us very well, not a comparable drive to the new wheels though!

Any tips for this LR gratefullyatefully received!

OMG Are we lost twins? Wink The Freelander will be mainly used by my wife too! On a fortnightly comute to Buckinghamshire ( 270m return), which the old GV was only just coping with! also only 27mpg with its underpowered 2.0 ltr petrol engine!! I will only get a go therefore every other week Sad

Thanks Griff,

Would love too, & in Lincs, mud is never a problem to find! I do belive however, the deal is......She gets it dirty, I get to clean it (No change there then!)

Hello and welcome !

Top tip is rotate using the key fobs every month. Battery not easily replaced and involves cutting plastic, soldering and glue, or paying hundreds from a main dealer for a new one.

Enjoy Thumbs Up _________________
