As you have ordered a fuel filter I would go ahead and change it (fit a genuine landrover one) they don't need to be fully blocked to cause issues with fuel delivery.

Add the extra earth lead if not fitted. All covered about where to where etc in search. If battery is old bin it. FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years

Many thanks for info above. Have two OBD readers but both saying no fault codes stored. Will fit the filter and crank sensor today and see where we go from there. I will check the earth lead. |

All fixed, failed crankshaft sensor the culprit. Fitted new one and she fired up no problem. Will leave the fuel filter until next service. Checked the extra earth strap and already has it fitted.
