What do you think is better th iPhone or Samsung ? I'm looking to upgrade and I like the look of the S3 as I currently have the S2, but if I got the iPhone I could link my apps from my IPad and that would be useful. What do you think?

My company phone is an S2, it's quite possibly the biggest heap of junk I have ever had.

Poor handling, touch lags what is happening
Very poor phone side of the thing
Useless Bluetooth connectivity forever dropping out, iPhone NEVER drops out for me.
Appalling battery life, it drains at an alarming rate.

Give me an iPhone any day, 4s is way better and if you have an Ipad, syncing is easy, just beware of using the cloud, if you delete contacts in the ipad, it deletes them on the phone and they are not backed up on the cloud.
Apple are good, but not as good as all the Applites have you beleive, but way better than Samsung Galaxy S2 IMHO

you'd get a better deal on the s3, the s4 comes out soon doesn't it?

My mate defected to Samsung and has had nothing but trouble with his. I back my iPhone up to both iCloud and my MacBook and they sync just fine. Photos I take on my phone are uploaded via photo stream automatically when I connect to wi-fi and then there they are next time I use my MacBook.

When I first got my iPhone 5 it just transferred all the backup data from my comp to the new phone. Every single setting including ringtones for various contacts was in place.

P.S, I insured my phone with insurance 2 go and it was £70 for the year which included loss, theft and accidental damage. Well worth it for a £500+ phone  LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby

I think it's being released on the 14th in New York.

I have S2 for work and iphone5 private. IPhone all the way just so stable my S2 is laggy, freezes up has really bad echo on odd occasions.
IPhone does what it says on the tin has not frozen or anything in 6 months

Samsung nightmare ,never been able to up date wife's phone.Always having issue's with it ,no emails getting set picture's being deleted with out doing any thing.. Just got her iPhone.. but this house is Apple ..

iPhone 5 works fine with FL2 bluetooth. In fact, driving home tonight I heard my phone beep for a text whilst in my pocket. I pressed the Siri button thingy with phone still in pocket and asked it to check my texts which it duly read out through the speakers. Well Papa Smurf, the Fiesta has the new SYNC system which goes one better than Siri. I sync with bluetooth and can use voice commands using the button on the steering wheel and ask it to play any given music track or playlist on my phone or make calls etc. If a text comes in, it will read it out if I so wish. LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby

My S2 is on orange and my iPhone 5 is on o2.
No problems with either connecting to the LR2


Not bothered about 4G as work/home is via WiFi very rarely do anything to try and justify 4G .

I was thinking of getting my wife a Samsung. I have the Phone5 and gave her my iPhone4 and sold her iPhone3. She ain't stopped moaning! Says the 4 is too hard to hold with its sharp edges and that she preferred the 3! Gotta get her a round edged phone to shut her up. No, the S3 is slightly bigger than the IPhone 5. I think it's the Note that is m ore iPad mini sized

As a Sammy user I know that its quite often software that causes problems not the is.

As a Sammy user I could suggest looking at the new HTC

But as a Sammy user I would say if you want simple and it just works iPhone is good enough.

Its a closed system end of the day which is why it does work but no matter what youget there's no magic bulit.

Me... ill stick with my s2 for now as I like my car kit plus I'm more than capable of dealing with issues or custom builds.
