Obviously this is not my car & is the vehicle that I have been lent by the dealer until my Evoque arrives in approx 3 weeks ish.
I asked them on the phone a day or so ago if the Freelander will be up for sale when I am finished with it because one of my customers expressed an interest & was told yes so as they have been exceptionally good to me & I would thoroughly recomend my dealer I decided to advertise it here for them in advance.
It was handed to me with 1996 miles on the clock but will be more obviously & I have just returned from a trip to Liverpool to see our new Evoque on the production line at Halewood.
It is in Baltic Blue with the Almond leather. It has the Panoramic Roof, signature lights etc & the Meridian HiFi (not sure which one) though whichever is fantastic as is the heated steering wheel.
It has the fitted floor mats which I have covered with my rubber ones. It will be worth noting that I am treating this car as if it were my own & is being cleaned in the same meticulous manner being washed 3 times before we went to Liverpool, vacuumed & some bits shampooed inside. I infact polished it before we left for Liverpool & even washed it while we were away!
There are no marks on the wheels, paintwork or so far as I can see the interior.
What the dealer doesn't know (though they do know what I am like so I suspect they will have some idea) is that just before I take it back for them to sell I wil be giving it a thorough treat by doing all the normal stuff then cleaning the engine bay etc then polishing the body & then applying a good wax/sealant so it will be fit for showroom presentation.
Price on the forecourt will be I am told �35,995 but I know 100% they will do a deal.

Not yet but will try & sort some in the next day or so. Must catch up with some work then will wash it so it looks it's best.

The Baltic Blue sounds nice. It's on my list of colour options for when I change the car. My other favourites are the Mauritius Blue, Firenze and Santorini Black.

What made you change the other Evoque? It's sounds great from the description.

The Baltic Blue is a nice change from Santorini I guess as you don't see that many & it does look nice when all clean which in my posession will be the majority of the time lol.

I with I had time to wash mine. Registerd Dec 24th, just over 1000 miles in it, filthy outside, and grubby rubber mats inside.

I might get a wash next week when I take it to my place in Scotland for a week though I think I will give the roof a miss. 2013 Freelander 2 SD4 HSE

I took some pictures this afternoon but by the time I had finished washing it it was getting dark & was constantly drizzling so if they are a bit naff let me know & I will do some more in better conditions.

It still has the protective film on the drivers carpet & has the Grand Black Laquer finish.

I very nearly ordered a FL2 Dynamic SD4 Auto with lots of options in Fuji White/ Black & Red interior but it came to more than the Evoque & would depreciate quicker & I love the way the Evoque handles etc. (Past) Freelander 2 HSE 2010 MY In Rimini Red.
