waaa, just ordered my first LR

My13 freelander HSE sd4 auto, adding privacy glass, mud flaps, spoiler and side steps. Oh, and full size spare. Ordered today, delivery estimated first week in march. Colour Havana. Ebony interior, with optional piano black finish.

got 3.5k off list price, so happy with that. Also got reasonable trade in on two cars!!

finally joining the club guys, and cant wait!!!

I am almost closing a deal today to change my present FL2 08 (LR2) for a new one, almost like yours, but the SI4 because in Mexico is the only engine available; no Diesel ones Confused

Australia 2013 Freelander 2 SD4 SE Auto Fuji White

Waiting for my Gold Coast dealer to ring me saying my new Freelander 2 MY13 Fuji White SD4 with SE Lux pack is ready for pick up. Any day now!
I did countless hours researching what vehicle to get, and the Freelander 2 came up trumps.
I drove both diesel and new turbo petrol. The petrol had serious turbo lag at low RPM then when the turbo hits it just wants to surge. I found it not very user friendly in this regard and would be undesirable off roading. The diesel was very nice to drive and good spread of power. There was some turbo lag, but I intend to fit a tuning box to rectify that. The petrol also chews fuel like a V8. 13.5ltr/100km that's really bad Rolling with laughter


Anyway hi everyone. I'm from Brisbane Australia.

I didn't know you could either - just thought i'd chance it on the basis of trying to move from two to one car. The guy was brilliant (Taggarts - Glasgow), and basically said that they'd just be sending them to auction anyway. I suspect i'd have got slightly more of a trade in value if only for one car, but well worth it to not have to sell a car privately. Toyota Rav4 2.0

I changed MY07 Freelander last march to MY12 XS, then six months later they brought out the 2013 make over. I was guted, no way could I change my car so soon, So I changed the front and rear lights in sted to the new LED signature style lights.

It will be a few years before I change my freelander 2 perhaps to a freelander 3 ?
my daughter started at uni the year and I'm scint Big Cry 2013 hse auto, black, almond leather, exnon lights, factory privacy glass, exhaust finisher, rear boot spoiler, mud flaps. Body door side moulding and steps.

Gone and fondly remembered
2012 XS (2013 up-grade LED lights front & rear)
2007 hse (2011 facelift)

Valeter, ordered 8th Jan - so roughly 6 weeks till delivery, and i'm delaying further to take advantage of new registrations. Almost tempted to go round and get it now though! Toyota Rav4 2.0
