Re: Noise when steering left.

Update.
After ringing a few garages for prices. Best price, a local Landy independent specialist, £250 all in for a replacement front wheel hub with bearing. Checked price for hub from dealers, £150 for the part.

Does anyone know if the bearing only without hub could be changed on an FL2? Landy has now gone.

JST,
Apparently hub comes with bearing & includes abs sensor on the FL2. Can’t fit bearing separately. Or at least that's what the dealers & two other garages told me. Yet I have seen the bearing kits sold separately on ebay for the FL2 for around £30. Landy has now gone.

Going to buy a high lift trolley jack today, my current trolley jac does not lift high enough Laughing Will check for play. If it would be deemed to be an MOT failure (plenty of play in bearing), then my current Land Rovers MOT insurance would cover it. As I still have that until Aug. It’s due an MOT in April. If there's no play in bearing, will be an independent job. Landy has now gone.

Update.
Landy passed MOT at local indie Smile
Then decided to have front bearing replaced.
£230 (all in), for OEM hub replacement. £135 (all in), for new set of front pads & disc's (pagid OEM), whilst they were on.
So I think I did well there with the price.
Drives like a dream now, noise finally gone Thumbs Up Landy has now gone.

All itemised, hub cost £150+ £80 labour to change it. With a years guarantee. I certainly don't miss the noise Laughing Landy has now gone.
