United Kingdom 2009 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Auto Zermatt Silver
Dallas 1pm

I've just got home from working in Texas last week, and finishing on Thursday afternoon, the rest of the week was mine 'till the flight home on Sunday night, rocking around in my super cool Kia Soul rental Embarassed . On Friday morning I went to the JFK 6th Floor Museum of the Texas Book Depository ( it's a bit biased on the good guy image -no mention of his shagging exploits and murdering Marlilyn Whistle ) and I saw Lee Harvey Oswald's snipers nest protected behind glass. looking out of the adjacent window you can see three x marks the spot things painted on the road that are supposed to correspond to the shots. having seen it I was surprised at how close it all was. So the question boys and girls,

who did shoot JFK ?,

having see it I'd put a fiver on Oswald, even Stevie Wonder could have hit him from that position. 2009 GS Auto Zermatt Silver - Sold June 21 after 10 years of ownership

Lord Lucan Laughing

Nice to hear someone else has been Thumbs Up

I went to Texas on holiday in 2008. We did 3 nights in Houston (went to Space Center) and 5 nights in Dallas. We also covered Fort Worth (Billy Bob's Rodeo Bar was a good laugh). The JFK museum is eerie I think but interesting point about the skullduggery surrounding it all.

As an added bonus on this subject, we went to the Southfork Ranch and I just had to buy a Stetson from Wild Bill's Western Store in Dallas! I also tried a bourbon called Knob Creek Rolling with laughter

Great place. Did New York in 2006 and soon to be booking California and Las Vegas for August 2014!!! Thumbs Up LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby

I went to Fort Worth straight afterwards Doc Rolling with laughter a friend told me to go to a restaurant about 1/2 a mile from the stockyards, Joe T Garcia's, fabulous multi course meal Mexican and a beer ten quid, !

Knob Creek , yes only in America ! there was a whole section in Cabelas outdoors shop devoted to " Calling Gobblers " , which is apparently something to do with shooting turkeys, just hope they never try that approach in Leeds they might get more than they bargained for Whistle 2009 GS Auto Zermatt Silver - Sold June 21 after 10 years of ownership

Tell you something Martyn, the DART system in Dallas is awesome value for money. You can pay less than $20 for an all day ticket if memory serves me well and for that you get unlimited travel on the trains and on the buses in the city centre. Costs £1.50 just to go on the bus to the nearest town centre about 2 miles away here. Not that I use the bus of course but I know a few folk that do.

P.S, I tried a southern fried chicken burger in Billy Bob's and it was about the size of a rugby ball Shocked LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby
