Speak to Chris at Stratstone in Bury, just down the road from you. I'm sure you will find they want your business!

Thanks, I'm test driving on Saturday morning at Rocar in Huddersfield which is the same dealership as Copley's in Halifax (Both owned by Perry's) so I'll see what they can do and then make a couple of calls to your suggested dealers.

Thanks Very Happy FL2 HSE SD4, black, privacy glass, spoiler, 19' diamond cut alloys.

Could flylr please elaborate on the clutch / fly wheel check at 2000RPM? I presume you mean that when you boot it in 6th gear, the revs will rise sharply but there will be a lack of acceleration as the clutch is not working correctly and just slipping?

Cheers guys - a font of knowledge as always!!!

You assume correct, if the clutch is week, 4th will a bit, 5th a lot more and 6th more, you tend to notice as you accelerate coming off roundabouts.

United Kingdom 2012 Freelander 2 TD4 XS Manual Martinique Blue

I traded in my 07 sx manual diesel last year for a facelift 12 manual xs diesel. I thought the first one was great, about 35 mpg on average. comfortable, quiet, plenty fast enough for me and it towed my 1700kg caravan superbly.

Mu 12 is even better, slightly lower power but the same torque I am told and overall it is nippier and does 4-5 more miles to the gallon also cheaper road tax because of the emmissions. Should have bought one years ago
