Quotes!

Over the last couple of days I have heard two interesting statements.
Firstly ;
"I would rather eat Yorkshire manure than Lancashire vegetables"
Secondly;
"I don't go in for being a professional northerner"

So, Yorkshire versus Lancashire, is there really any ill feeling?
And
Is it a big thing being northern, or are you just English?

London born but moved to God's Country in the '70's before the nouveau riche discovered the Cotswolds.

Yes I can reveal (much to your shock and amazement) that Southern people do waste money on leather footwear for their children. Smile MY 09 GS manual in Lago Grey, Wood Co arm rest and side bumper strips - now sold.

my kids will get leather footwear when they earn the money themselves, so if they choose to work for me it may never happen Laughing At work
