I suggest you look at the guidance on http://www.outdooraccess-scotland.com/
But you will note that vehicles are not included in the guidance. The law states that Access rights do not extend to (amongst other things:

....any form of motorised recreation or passage (except by
people with a disability using a vehicle or vessel adapted for
their use).

In short, no you cant roam at will. Sad 2009 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Auto - Stornoway Grey - Hers (His, really)

Thats just north of where I live and is absolutely stunning on a good day. The main road ("Dukes Pass") off which the forest route lies is voted one of the best scenic drives in the world. The area is well worth a visit. Thumbs Up 2009 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Auto - Stornoway Grey - Hers (His, really)

Aviemore green laning/pay and play suggestions welcome.

Hi all, opening up an old thread.

Two years ago I had a great day at Experience 4X4 near Inverness. Driving some aged, but capable, Discoveries.

I promised myself that next time I was in the area I would bring Freddie (named by my Son), my FL2, to try out the tracks.

Sadly, Experience 4x4 has since closed.

Is there anything similar in the area? Green laning?, Pay and Play? Nothing too serious. I have some GG AT tyres on but no sump or tank guards.

Will be coming up in late August.

Any suggestions welcome.

Cheers, JGH99. Freelander 2 GS Stornoway Grey
Jan 2007 Bought 71,000 miles. Currently 149,300 miles.
