Evening all, i have ordered a carbon pollen filter from advanced factors all turned up fine

Just wondering how i need to fit the thing, i know how to fit a standard lr normal pollen filter but this one is a bearmach one and has plastic bits on the end, not sure if i need to take the plastic end bits off then slide it in or leave them on?

Any info would be ace

Leave the plastic bits on, the lugs on the ends line up with the receiver in the heater body. 2008 G4 RRSport TDV8

Lucky I left them on then Had a go at it yesterday, went in ok and I think I got it the right way around as it fitted nicely, this filter was much stiffer than the one I took out which just flopped about so made it much better.

Will have to see how the carbon one is over the normal pollen filter, as the one that was fitted was just a normal pollen type, which tbh was rather dirty.
