Bluetooth crackle

Does anyone suffer from a bad crackling while using their phone?

Not sure if its the phone or the car, the phone is a htc one x so its not an old phone.

Also if I speak using just the phone I come across at normal volume, using hands free aparently im very quiet, I have tried turning up the volume which does not make any difference.

I have it when using my works HTC One handset, and don't have it when I use my iPhone 4. So I'm guessing it's a HTC problem....could be wrong I suppose.... Foraging near Gaydon....

I have the HTC Desire S and have had reports of me sounding a little quiet but no 'crackling' and the clarity is good.
Previously had a Nokia and that was also reported as a bit quiet, maybe the Freely has OTT noise cancelling.

Really anoying, it worked fine on another hands free kit on my Disco, they must not like each other on the FL2.

Went onto the HTC website and no updates/fixes for bluetooth etc.
