Door lock

Did a search but find the same problem. Got to work this Morrning and couldn't open the drivers door from the inside, had to open the window and open it from the out side. It's feels like the door lever is not connected to anything, it locks and unlocks from the out side no problem. So just wondering if anyone as had same issue and what was the fix :ie new door lever, broken cable or a new door lock and the thing is I can't look at it till next week.

Did you try and see if the master lock and unlock works in the car? The door lever is operated by cable so if the master lock unlocks and locks the car but the lever doesnot move then the cable has become detached inside the door pannel.
If failing this can you get it on a diagnostic meter to see if any fault codes have been stored, it could be a problem with the door modual.

Thanks Superspark not sure what you mean by master lock!! but you can press the locking buttons on the dash or use the fob and you can hear the door lock and unlock and at the same time pulling the lever you can't feel any moment on it, all the other doors lock and unlock fine. It just feels like its not connected to anything. If you mean the small black lever next to the door lever that's not doing anything as well.
