I'm going to replace the speakers in my SE this weekend so I was hoping that someone has removed the door trims before me and that they can give me some tips.

I wouldn't say I'm trained but I do find the speakers a bit flat for my liking and then the tweeters in the door pillars distort which is why i'm keen to change them. |

I have to admit thinking about it, my brother how has a top of the range Volvo sound system in his V50 said it sounded flat when I first got the car.

On the weekend I went speaker shopping but I couldn't decide which speakers I wanted and the guy at JB Hi Fi suggested I put an amp in first and then see if I still needed to upgrade the speakers.
