England 2008 Freelander 2 TD4 XS Manual Zermatt Silver
Self Inflating Lumbar Support

Lumbar suppot is always on full every time I get into the car. I have to press the deflate button every time, or put up with an airbag in my back!

Is this a known issue? If so, is there any easy fix?

Many thanks

Hi, on this subject...

What models come as standard, if any, with lumbar support?

Thanks

Paul

Thanks for the switch suggestion.

Not sure whether it works without ignition or not - I'll check when I get a chance.

Sorry, can't help with the model info. Ours is a MY08 XS, but with electric memory seats, which I seem to remember were an upgrade.

I have had this problem too. Mine gradually inflates over time and I have to deflate it every month or so. Not sure what the cause it but maybe its normal state is high inflation.

Mine is leaking and is empty everytime I jump in the car, on longer trips I even have to inflate it every hour or so

Would be nice to have a drawing of the system Smile
