On MY2013 they can't be overridden by dealer to fold / unfold on lock / unlock - just had dealer try to do it. Previous models could be changed.

Assume you can stop them unfolding on unlock, by manually folding prior to tuning off the engine. Stopping them folding on lock is another matter. 2013 RR Evoque Pure Tech

Some says manually fold them in by pressing both buttons, then they'll stay like that till you press it again

Or if you don't want the folding option physically fold them back out instead of pressing the button

I've never done this myself, so if you break it then its not my fault

Good idea Nick, and it doesn't do any harm, I often put mine in and out by hand when washing.

i think you'll find millions more do something similar  Another member of the failed FL2 clutch/DMF club, twice.

So they now fold in randomly after visit to dealer!
