All car forums are like that they highlight the bad points and often forget about the good points. But then again the forum would die if all the posts were simply telling everyone how good their car is!

Can we assume that you have not had any problems with your car to data, you state in your first post that you are very pleased with your Freelander. P.S Welcome to the forum. |

Yeah, sure same is true for most forum users R60. The vehicle is predominantly fine, but I guess that doesn't make too interesting reading on the forum! : Life is not a dress rehearsal! |

Glad to hear it rover60. I know what you mean about negative feed back from some of the other freelander owners. I don't have mine yet (another seven weeks to go), and reading some of the posts certainly makes me nervous at times. Then when I read that people like you have had their vehicle for a reasonable amount of time and still no problem free it helps to reasure me. Mind you most negative posts are about minor problems and when there has been major problems a replacement has been offered it seems. At least that's what I keep telling myself. It also seems that the longer the car has been in production the fewer problems there are, or is that just me trying to reasure myself. |

New models always have teething problems and it doesn't matter which manufacturer built it.
