WINDOW HEATER QUERY. Hi, this is my first post since buying my HSE diesel auto about 6 weeks ago. My question is about the front heated screen and the rear side heated windows. The drivers side screen heater comes on every time I press the "prog" button but the passenger side seems to come on some times and not others. This is the same with the rear side windows, but the back window works every time! Does anyone have an idea what's going on ??? A bad day sailing beats a good day in the office. |

Front screen sounds like a connection issue, at the base of the screen either side are the connectors, check those.

The rear sides are the aerials for the radio (on standard motors anyway), as for the front screen maybe a bad connection or faulty relay.

Andy, Thanks for your post. I was going to ask that same question too, regarding the rear side heaters Never thought they were the ariel Only took me 4 months to realise it. As we own the base model LR2, thought they wern't hooked up Landy has now gone. |

What's more worrying is that when I asked my dealer about the rear side window heaters not working they said they thought these were radio aerials! Not exactly an unequivocal response from them! Disco 4 HSE SDV6 Orkney Grey
