Just spent the last two hours on Landrover approved used site looking at the different colours and the Baltic Blue has caught my eye. The local dealer has one so I may pop along.

silver hides scratches the best, the rest of the colours are for prettyboys...

Baltic Blue isnt that nice - looks very dull. Silver is nice but doesnt show up the chrome grille and side vents . If you are going for a new FL2 how about Havana - browny coppery colour (dont you just love my descriptions), seen a few D4's and RRS's in this colour and it looks nice.

Must admit the FL2 colour selection is pretty drab (unless you like black or grey), I wonder why LR havent gone for the 2 colour option so that you could have the roof a different colour to the rest of the car? Baltic Blue in my opinion looks good, particularly in sunlight where the full effect of the colour can be appreciated.
Biggest downside I've found with it, is that is shows scratches a little too easily.

its personal choice cannot be advised really... red looks good i think, but comng from grey not to sure. mine is inpanema sand and although i had initial reservations, i wouls choose it again....

My FL is Black which I love, but the paint really takes a lot of looking after as it shows every blemish. You need to be almost fanatical to keep Black looking good, ie, no one wahes it except you, not even the dealer. You need a jetwash, proper lambswool mit, large drying cloth.

the truest words spoken on this thread for a long time Not being biased in any way! when the sun is shining it is simply stunning, does look a bit purple on some dull days but really glad i picked it whilst i could. Still get people asking about the colour when they see it.

The best thing about bali blue was its short availability - 2 years I think which means its very rare to see another on the road. I wish LR would be braver and release some vibrant colours like on the Evoque, i once had an estoril blue BMW - now thats a colour i would like to see a FL2!!!! Now - 2017 BMW X3 M Sport Carbon Black

We were talking about this very issue a few weeks back. Currently we have a Tambora Flame one but the current colour choice I think is poor, there's nothing outstanding at all. Black is lovely when clean but ony stays clean for about 3 seconds after you drive it anywhere.

Personally, the only ones I'd go for now is Havana or Mauritius Blue, the latter being the only colour we'd both agree on.
