Although the in car Sat Nav system is, well OK, I prefer the flexibility and more options of the TomTom system.
I hate having things stuck on the windscreen and would like to ask if anyone can recommend a vent mounted holder for the iPhone 4? Tattoos - Why would you choose to look like the wall of a public toilet?

By all accounts they are quite good

Fairly new to this Forum lark, so not sure if anyone picks up on a reply to a post from way back, but I'm keen to know if anyone has used Tetrax mounts for iPhone - any good? They look like the least obtrusive mount ever, and this is the only post I can find. Hope there is some experience out there.

I got one of these for some time now. fits perfectly in the air vernt. doent take any space. you can see some pics in my gallery. I am 100% satisfied with it. I find it way better than all other holders

Has anyone tried this on a Freelander yet

Just wondering on the following.

Freelander air vents are vertical and reading feedback people have had to superglue bracket as it would not clamp well enough. The RRS shown has horizontal slats which would be easier to afix to and not have the same problem as the vertical freelander vents.

Also the vents are quite narrow and the middle section of the vent protrudes quite a way so may foul back of the phone especially the larger size ones

Another vote for Brodit. At least 3 position options for mounting a smartphone last time I looked.

I've just fitted the Brodit left of stereo clip and iPhone 4S holder - just the job

I just wish I'd spent the extra few pounds and bought the holder with the dock connector in it already...
