The beemer was I agree but may have been eager to get past the merc. I'd been on the phone since the Ripley junction and with the merc since Alfreton junction. The beemer came into play later on.

Quick sample footage. The motion detection was far too sensitive even on lowest setting so opted for this in parking mode which uses less space on the card and less power.

It's a clear enough picture . I think I might invest in a new dash cam. Have a RoadHawk , which is great, but had it for at least 3 years now. Somehow I feel naked going out in a car without a dashcam now, sort of vulnerable to everyone else on the road.

I had a Roadhawk DC-2 before this which became faulty hence the new camera. Funny you should mention being without a camera because last year I had my first DC2 replaced under warranty and sent it back to them but was without it for several days and it just felt odd without that peace of mind. Nothing happened but good old sods law worried me

See that a lot, they are there own worst enemy, first time I drove a hgv through London I couldn't believe how they didn't notice or care about the danger they put themselves in, for the record I also ride a bike ( Land Rover one ) Common sense isn't very common.

With nobody behind me at the lights, I did some lurking because I thought some serious road rage was on hand for a minute. The guy in the white van was leaning out of the window at one point.

A toe rag ran into the back of me while I was stationary in traffic. Fortunately no injuries or damage to me or my car, but said toe rag reversed and drove off at speed without attempting to exchange details. I have it all on dashcam, front and rear, and thinking that he drove off possibly because he may not have insurance I reported the incident to the police.
