Easy to conclude that when you don't know the roundabout. The Fiat wanted to go left but left it way too late to get over and did not indicate until very late. That Fiat had come from around the other side of the roundabout and had ample time to move over properly and no other cars were in its path to prevent such a move.

I'm sure it doesn't but following the textbook definition rarely works out in reality (such as the adopted meaning of flashing lights as opposed to the textbook meaning). Believe me, I would be the first to complain when moving over if someone pulled out but I stand by what I said because I know that roundabout and I was there and could see the Fiat coming.

The corsa didn't have a clear view of the traffic , he shouldn't have moved . Not knowing the roundabout isn't an excuse, I drive on roads that I have never been on before and I don't pull out when I can't see. Do it now ! Your a long time dead !! |

I do agree that the Corsa took a chance but as above, I think common courtesy would see an earlier indication and movement. I would have certainly indicated and moved earlier than that and to be fair, given the photographs, I think any of us on here would do the same. Corsa driver took a chance and the Fiat left it too late LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby LOT (Lord of Time) - University of Gallifrey |

The Corsa drive could see. You can see that he is slightly ahead of me and from that angle would be able to see traffic on the roundabout without me blocking his view. LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby LOT (Lord of Time) - University of Gallifrey |
