Bearing in mind dashcams make things seem further away, you can get an idea of how close the idiot in the van was to my car. All because he couldn't wait for the approaching Astra to my right. Watch from 35 seconds in.

Copied this from the video description: As usual with dashcams, they make things seem faster than they are and the car in question looks like he was flying over the roundabout but it was slower than it looks. There is also a bit of a delay on the GPS showing true speed, something I've noticed on playback when accelerating also. It was a bit foggy but the guy obviously had no intention of stopping. I was weary of him as he approached and had my foot over the brake pedal as I've seen many brake late or not at all! Clear visibility to my right and no approaching traffic. - Footage from Roadhawk DC-2

Actually I don't see the problem, from your position he would have made it, and you would have had to try, to hit him, just another miss. my PC is slightly to the right of Genghis

From my position he did make it. The point is that from where he was when I was in view and indicating, I personally would have slowed down and given way as I am sure any of us would. He just thought sod all that and went cruising through and it was neither considerate or safe. In fact, only the other week I spotted (whilst walking) a Saab cut the corner of the roundabout from my position. Had that happened there, the Peugeot would have hit him. The Saab would have been at fault but therein lies the danger of ploughing on at the roundabout on the assumption all would be well. LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby

Roadhawk DC-2. Very pleased with it but I have to use RaceRender software to get the stats to appear for YouTube videos. The supplied software only displays it on the screen rather than saving it to the file.

There is an event button on the back of the camera which saves a locked file when pressed. It auto saves if it detects an impact.

On your previous video with the Vecta, you can clearly here the indicators, quite obtrusive. Thumbs Up

Agreed. The mic sensitivity varies as can be seen in the impatient van video but the indicators were activated Thumbs Up LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby
