2011 Freelander 2 SD4 HSE Auto Zermatt Silver

Getting power to dash top?

I've just bought a 2011 HSE and want to fit my Cyclops GPS camera detector to the dash top on drivers side..
Where is the best place to obtain 12v ignition switched power and the neatest way to route wires up through the dash?
Is there a DIY guide for getting access to behind the dash?
